Spring is here. The Sun is in the cardinal fire sign Aries until April 19. While the Sun is in Aries we gain confidence, as it is exalted or stronger than all other signs when it shines in Aries. We are invited to be bold and take calculated risks, and to be more spontaneous.
Sunday, March 23, holds a Sun-Pluto sextile, a strong, bold energy. This is a great day to step forward with a goal or commitment. Venus becomes a morning star.
The coming week holds a partial Solar Eclipse on Saturday, March 29. Mars is out-of-bounds, Venus and Mercury retrograde.
The coming week holds a partial Solar Eclipse. Mars is out-of-bounds, Venus and Mercury retrograde. A Total Lunar Eclipse occurred March 13 at 11:54 p.m. PDT at 23 degrees of Virgo tropically. On Saturday, March 29 a Partial Solar Eclipse will occur at 3:57 a.m. PDT at 9 degrees of Aries. This eclipse encourages independence, self-reliance, and leadership. Stand up for strong values. The week ahead leading up to the Solar Eclipse is supercharged. Solar eclipses are New Moons that call for setting intentions.
Mercury is now retrograde until April 6. More clerical and numerical errors are made when Mercury is retrograde, and mechanical and technological breakdowns often occur. Be patient with mix-ups in communication and delays. The next two weeks are good for reviewing, re-thinking, and re-doing.
Venus is now retrograde through June 7, inviting us to re-assess relationships and values. Venus backs into Pisces on Thursday, March 27, and conjuncts Neptune. On Friday, March 28, the Pisces Moon is conjunct Venus and Neptune, a rare aspect that may foster a deep connection with divine energy. Intuition is super-charged. Use this special alignment to intend and create something special.
Mars is now direct in motion, but still out-of-bounds until April 7. When a planet is out-of-bounds it expresses more erratically and aggressively, and in a more exaggerated way. Mars continues to trine Saturn within a 3-degree orb nearly every day through April 18. This aspect provides focus, precision, and drive. This is excellent energy for the month ahead to work diligently on a project, such as writing and editing an article or book, learning lines or music for a performance, or organizing and streamlining your work space or computer. Proceed both assertively with determination and carefulness. Aim for mastery and completion.
Neptune will enter Aries on Sunday, March 30th. This a huge shift, and it will mark a significant change in our collective experience.

Moon Void of Course: This is the time when the Moon makes its last major angular aspect with a planet before it moves into the next zodiacal sign tropically. This void time, when the Moon is not aspecting a planet, but rather floating on its own, is a time when things don’t come together and it is difficult to make good decisions. Purchases made during void Moons often turn out to be unsatisfactory and not work out. Appointments often don’t come together, and meetings don’t result in progress or sound, lasting decisions. We more easily get lost or meander in trying to get somewhere. The VoC Moon times for the next month are listed below so that you can plan meetings, decisions, and purchases at times when the Moon is not VoC; and use the void times for gardening, reading, and routine task work.
