Full Moon Saturday, April 12

The week ahead is filled with strong, active energy. The Sun is in the cardinal fire sign Aries until April 19. While the Sun is in Aries we gain confidence, and feel strong and bold. Step out and be spontaneous! Take risks, such as meeting someone new at a gathering, or inviting someone for coffee who you would like to know better. Wear red or bright colors and stand out! Activate your intuition or your desires and do something new.

Mercury turns direct Monday, April 7. Then you will be able to move forward with contracts and commitments. Sunday and Monday are super good days, what astrologers Ralph and Lahni DeAmicis call White Circle Days. The Sun sextiles Jupiter, and Venus trines Mars, both aspects exact on Sunday, the 6th. Monday is an excellent day to launch a project, or get together with others, or do just about anything.

Mars completes its out-of-bounds period on April 7. Whew! The extra aggression should settle down. Mars continues to trine Saturn within a 3-degree orb through April 18. This aspect provides focus, precision, and drive. The Mars-Saturn trine is excellent energy for the next two weeks to work diligently on a project, such as writing and editing an article or book, learning lines or music for a performance, or organizing and streamlining your work space or computer. Proceed both assertively with determination and carefulness. Aim for mastery and completion.

Venus conjuncts Saturn exactly on Monday, and is in aspect April 5-8, good for precise, exacting work. Venus turns direct on April 12, and then all planets will be in direct motion until Pluto turns retrograde May 4.

Saturday, April 12 the Moon is Full, and conjunct the bright Star Spica, which is associated with the feminine. Venus turning direct further empowers the day. This would be a good day to gather with female friends, and to brighten and beautify your home and garden.

Neptune entered Aries on Sunday, March 30th for a 14-year stay in the first sign the zodiac, except when it retrogrades back into Pisces October 22, 2025-January 27, 2026. This huge shift corresponded with the startling imposing of tariffs and resulting shake-up in global markets.

Saturn is sextile Uranus. This Saturn-Uranus sextile will be at play within 1-3 degrees through February 2026. This would be an excellent time to break bad habits and establish good habits. It is a time for breakthrough and building something new.

Moon in Libra: Thursday, April 10 at 6:11 p.m. through Sunday, April 13 at 6:53 a.m. Relax and be more social. Enjoy fine dining. Mediate conflicts.

Moon in Scorpio: Sunday, April 13 at 6:53 a.m. through Tuesday, April 15 at 7:36 p.m. Take some personal space for yourself. Sink into deep matters. Research what is on your mind.

Moon Void of Course: This is the time when the Moon makes its last major angular aspect with a planet before it moves into the next zodiacal sign tropically. This void time, when the Moon is not aspecting a planet, but rather floating on its own, is a time when things don’t come together and it is difficult to make good decisions.
