Astrological Chart Reading Class Starts May 5 (See below for more information)!

The week ahead holds strong energy of action-oriented Sun in Aries where it shines for one more week until it moves into Taurus on April 19. While the Sun is in Aries we gain confidence. Step out and be spontaneous! Wear red or bright colors and stand out! Be passionate. Activate your intuition or your desires and do something new.
Venus turns direct on Saturday, April 12, and then all planets are in direct motion until Pluto turns retrograde May 4. Also on Saturday, April 12 the Moon is Full in Libra, conjunct the bright Star Spica in Virgo, which is associated with the feminine. Venus turning direct further empowers the day. This would be a good day to gather with female friends, and to brighten and upgrade your surroundings. Beautify your home and garden.
Twice a month the Moon squares Pluto, and this will occur on Monday, April 13. You may feel emotional pressure and volatility. Give yourself some time and space to process feelings that are stirred up.
Venus, Saturn, and the North Node are conjunct. Venus wants to move toward pleasure, prosperity, and love. Saturn gives restraint and demands responsibility and hard work. The North Node is your path. The stock market volatility now is exemplary of this combined energy. By the end of April Venus will move ahead of Saturn and will enter Aries on April 30, and then the restricting constraints will ease. Meanwhile, lean in and work hard and be judicious and frugal with your time and money.
Mars continues to trine Saturn within a 3-degree orb through April 18. This aspect provides focus, precision, and drive. This is excellent energy for one more week to work diligently on a project, such as writing and editing an article or book, learning lines or music for a performance, or organizing and streamlining your work space or computer. Proceed both assertively with determination and carefulness. Aim for mastery and completion. I am working on a lecture for a Conference sponsored by CIIS' East-West Psychology program titled Numinous Earth: Ecopsychology at the Edge. My lecture, Ralph Metzner's Ecological Worldview will be the culminating lecture at 5:00 PT on Friday, April 18. See below for registration information.
Neptune entered Aries on Sunday, March 30th for a 14-year stay in the first sign the zodiac, except when it retrogrades back into Pisces October 22, 2025-January 27, 2026.
Saturn is sextile Uranus. This Saturn-Uranus sextile will be at play within 1-3 degrees through February 2026. This would be an excellent time to break bad habits and establish good habits. It is a time for breakthrough and building something new.

Moon Void of Course: This is the time when the Moon makes its last major angular aspect with a planet before it moves into the next zodiacal sign tropically. This void time, when the Moon is not aspecting a planet, but rather floating on its own, is a time when things don’t come together and it is difficult to make good decisions. Purchases made during void Moons often turn out to be unsatisfactory and not work out. Appointments often don’t come together, and meetings don’t result in progress or sound, lasting decisions. We more easily get lost or meander in trying to get somewhere. The VoC Moon times for the next month are listed below so that you can plan meetings, decisions, and purchases at times when the Moon is not VoC; and use the void times for gardening, reading, and routine task work.
